Cowley: No Quick Fix For White Sox
CHICAGO (WSCR) The Chicago White Sox are an unimpressive 10-16 and rank in the bottom half of Major League Baseball in most offensive and pitching statistics.
"You can point fingers at basically every coach on this staff if you want," Joe Cowley, of the Chicago Sun-Times, said on the Danny Mac Show. "When the product is going this bad, there aren't enough fingers to point. And to me, it starts at the top with the general manager and works its way right on down, throughout everybody in the entire organization. There's just a lot of head scratching going on with these guys.

"And if they think they're going to flip the switch and do a 25-5 [stretch] like they did last year, in one month, and end up at the All-Star break in first place, those don't happen very often. Memo to the South Side, that was a fluke more than it was a trend. You have to start grinding this thing out in May, and start slowly making up some games. That's usually the way it's done."
