Cowley: Bulls Took Game 1 In A 'Tap Out Game'
CHICAGO (WSCR) At halftime of the Sunday night's game, the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat were tied with 48 points apiece. But when time expired at the end of the fourth quarter, the Heat were looking at an ugly 21-point loss.
The fact that Chicago took Game 1 on their own home court is in no way surprising, but the way they finished the game is.
"I thought Chicago would win Game 1, and Miami would [win] Game 2," Joe Cowley, columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times, said on the Danny Mac Show. "I didn't think they'd win Game 1 like that. Forget convincing, that was a tap out game.

"I mean Miami really has to kind of look at their personnel and the decisions they made to go without Big Z and kind of go smaller and try to run with this team...Now they have to, not reinvent themselves becuase you can't do it at this point in the season, but they have some serious soul searching to do."
The Bulls out-worked the Heat for the entire second half, and their aggressive defense and rebounding finally broke Miami's back in the fourth quarter, as the Bulls outscored the Heat by 12 points in the games final period.
