Cops Seize Child Porn From Batavia Man
ST. CHARLES (CBS) -- A west suburban man faces 14 counts of child pornography after police seized hundreds of DVDs and CDs at his Batavia home.
Danny L. Clifford, 63, was charged with 14 counts of possession of aggravated child pornography, according to a release from Batavia police.
About 6 a.m. Thursday, members of the Batavia Police Investigations Unit, working jointly with Geneva police detectives, executed a search warrant for child pornography at a home in the 400 block of Park Street, according to the release.
Several computers, and hundreds of DVDs and CDs were seized, and Clifford was taken into custody, the release said.
A police dispatcher said he is expected to appear for a bond hearing Friday at the Kane County Courthouse.
