Cops: Pharmacy Tech Admits To Big Painkillers Theft
(WBBM) - A St. Charles pharmacy technician could spend years in prison after, police say, she admitted she stole painkillers from her employer.

Collette Mazzie of Buffalo Grove is facing felony charges for unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance and theft of more than $300.
The case started internally.
The 25-year-old Walgreens pharmacy technician is alleged to have stolen an estimated 2,000 hydrocodone pills. Hydrocodone is an opiate.
The Daily Herald reports police say the pills were not for personal use.
She was allegedly selling them to a friend for $2 each.
Police say she signed a confession for Walgreens, then police got involved.
When she surrendered, police say, she turned over 475 pills.
