PHOTOS: Hail Storm At Coors Field As Cubs Open Series Against Rockies
(CBS) The Cubs were scheduled to open a three-game series against the Rockies in Denver on Monday night, but Mother Nature delivered a huge curveball.
A hail storm hit Denver on Monday afternoon, leaving Coors Field covered in ice pellets. Rain followed, and eventually the game was pushed to Tuesday, creating a doubleheader.
Cubs catcher Miguel Montero posted video of the storm from the dugout.
