Chilly evening, then warming temperatures for Thursday
CHICAGO (CBS) — Overnight temperatures will drop into the 40s, but a warming trend is on the horizon for Thursday.
Meantime, a Beach Hazard statement is active Wednesday for high waves and dangerous rip currents.
Winds relax as high pressure drifts to the Chicago area Wednesday night, and temperatures fall into the 40s.
It will be dry and quiet to close the workweek with high temperatures in the mid-70s, but cooler conditions lakeside each day.
The next rain chance develops overnight Friday into Saturday.
