Cook County Property Tax Installment Tentatively Due In November
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The second installment of Cook County property taxes is tentatively due in the first week of November, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas announced this week.
As WBBM Newsradio's David Roe reports, Pappas says the tax bills are "tentatively due" because the official due date will not be determined until after calculations on property values and tax rates are finalized by the Cook County assessor and clerk.

Pappas says once the bills are mailed, property owners can pay online, by mail, in person at her office in the County Building, 118 N. Clark St., or at any Chase Bank.
On the Treasurer's office Web site, property owners may enter their 14-digit property identification number to find out if they are paid in full or still owe.
Taxpayers may also call (312) 443-5100 for instructions in English, Spanish and Polish.
