Congressman Bob Dold To Introduce Bill Giving State Grants To Increase Access To Heroin Antidote

(CBS) -- A north suburban family's loss may result in a heroin antidote becoming more readily available.

Congressman Bob Dold plans to introduce a bill tomorrow that would give states grants to increase access to Naloxone.

Jody Daitchman says she wishes the opiod antagonist was around when her son Alex Laliberte overdosed and died in her Buffalo Grove home on December 15, 2008.
