College Student Found Safe After Going Missing At Union Station

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A college student who went missing at Union Station over the weekend has been found safe on the Northwest Side.
Prakul Kumar, 22, an Indian citizen attending the University of Iowa, went missing about 3 p.m. Saturday from Union Station near South Canal Street and West Jackson Boulevard, according to a missing person alert from Belmont Area detectives.
Chicago police said Monday afternoon that Kumar had been found safe and sound by his family on the Northwest Side.
Kumar and his father were going to board a train to Iowa on Saturday, but got separated when his father walked away at a fast pace. Kumar's father was not able to find him after they got separated and Kumar was reported missing.
