Coaching Will Be The Difference In Bulls-Hawks Series
CHICAGO (WSCR) The Chicago Bulls' 100-88 loss to the Atlanta Hawks raised some questions and concerns as the series now shifts back to Chicago, all knotted up at two games apiece.
But Bulls fans should feel somewhat at ease, knowing that their team has the league's Coach of the Year and Most Valuable Player, and that should make the difference.
"I trust [Tom] Thibodeau, is what it comes down to," Joe Cowley, of the Chicago Sun-Times, said on the Danny Mac Show. "I trust that he will make the adjustments, I trust that he understands the psyche of his team and understands where they are, and what they need to do. Every big game they've needed to come out and win this year they've won.

"I think Game 1 was just kind of youth, and kind of rust and a hot shooting team, basically two guys that were just completely on fire in [Jamal] Crawford and Joe Johnson. That game was what it was. What you saw [Sunday] was an Atlanta team that has not been seen this year, and that's self-admitted by the coach. And that's the frustration."
"I trust the coaching staff of the Bulls and I trust that their players, and their star players buy into their philosophy and buy into what they coaches are telling them a lot more than Atlanta does."
