Coach Q Optimistic Bolland And Brouwer Will Play In First Round
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville is optimistic that forwards Dave Bolland and Troy Brouwer will be able to play in the team's first round match-up with the Vancouver Canucks.

Bolland has been out of the lineup since he suffered a concussion in the March 9 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. As one of the team's top defensive centers, the addition of Bolland would go a long way towards helping the Blackhawks shut down Daniel and Henrik Sedin, who have combined for 60 goals and 138 assists on the season.
Brouwer has been listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury, and hasn't seen game action since April 5. While only accumulating 36 points (17 G, 19 A) on the season, his experience and ability to play in front of the net would be a big benefit to the Blackhawks.
According to Quenneville, both players will make the trip to Vancouver with the rest of the team.
