Clear Skies This Afternoon; No Threat Of Overnight Frost
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Temperatures will remain on the chilly side Thursday, but skies will be clear and the threat of frost is over for now.
CBS 2 Meteorologist Megan Glaros says as of 11:20 a.m., it was 54 degrees at O'Hare and Midway international airports and at Waukegan. The radar showed no precipitation in sight.
After a high of 58 Thursday, the temperature is expected to drop to upper 30s and 40s overnight.
On Friday, the temperature climbs to 62 degrees. Rain is expected, but it will not likely arrive until after the White Sox home opener.
For the weekend, active weather is expected, with showers and thunderstorms expected both Saturday and Sunday. But the high for Saturday is a pleasant 69, and for Sunday 68.
The high drops back down to 59 on Monday.
