As police inspected the Cadillac, they discovered four large bags filled with 2,277 allegedly illegal copies of movie DVDs, Hanania said. Kelly claimed that he discovered the bags of movies in an alley.
In reviewing the evidence later, police discovered popular DVD movie copies. The Motion Picture Association of America was contacted and they informed Cicero Police that they will prosecute the case for violation of movie copyright laws.
Kelly, of 804 S. 10th Avenue in Maywood, was placed in lockup pending arraignment.
