Chris Harris 'All For' A Return To The Bears
(WSCR) With injuries to both safeties Chris Conte and Brandon Hardin, the Bears are becoming increasingly thin at an already weak position.
Former Bear Chris Harris, who is currently a free agent, said he would gladly welcome a phone call from the Bears, if the team decided to pursue the 30-year-old.
"I'd be happy to come back to Chicago. (It's) one of my favorite cities, one of my favorite places," Harris told The Mully and Hanley Show. "The fans are awesome. If the opportunity presents itself, I'd be all for it."

Harris was drafted by the Bears in 2005. Two seasons later, he was traded the Panthers before being traded back to the Bears in 2010. After three games in 2011, he was released and finished the season in Detroit.
Now, Harris said he's trying to adjust to life outside of the NFL.
"I'm definitely ready (to get back,)" Harris said. "I think it was more difficult for me at the beginning. This is the first season that I've not been on a team or been involved in a training camp. I think around April or May, during the first OTAs, I was really itching. It was difficult, but now, I'm finding things to pass the time."
