Chilly, But Sunny For The Afternoon
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Conditions will remain seasonably cold Monday, but expect the sun to be out for the rest of the afternoon.
Temperatures were considerably colder on Monday than a day earlier. As of 11 a.m., it was only 32 degrees at Midway International Airport, and one degree warmer that at O'Hare.
But the temperatures are average for this time of year, and the sunshine is making up for the crisp air.
CBS 2 Meteorologist Megan Glaros says the highs Monday are expected to hit 39 degrees. Lows drop to 27 on Monday night.
On Tuesday, expect rain to breeze in during the latter part of the day, but highs rising to 42. By Wednesday, the high hits 48.
