Wonder Lake Man Charged With Child Porn
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Wonder Lake man faces multiple child pornography charges after investigators found thousands of explicit images on his computer, McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren said Tuesday.
James A Borca, 48, 4117 E. Wonder Lake Drive, was charged with multiple counts of aggravated child pornography, child pornography and aggravated assault, all felonies.
Borca faces the assault charges after he threatened sheriff's deputies and a Wonder Lake police officer during his arrest on Monday, Nygen said in a news release.
The child porn charges stem from an eight-month investigation. Police executed a search warrant in October and seized Borca's computer, which investigators determined contained thousands of files of child pornography.
Borca's bond was set at $70,000.
