Chicagoland Toys For Tots In Need Of Trucks, Toys
(CBS) -- The local Marines who run the Toys for Tots program are in need of a little extra help and time is running short.
WBBM's Mike Krauser reports the Marines need a few good trucks, toy trucks and real trucks. Greg Padavoni, a volunteer with Chicagoland Toys for Tots, says they have 500 drop-off points and not enough trucks to pick up all the toys.

"What will happen is the Marines will go out there, pick up they toys until Dec. 20, the final day for pick up here," he said.
He says they're running short on toys as well.
"Toys are greatly appreciated," Padavoni said. "Especially, by the way, toys for kids, girls and boys six to nine. Those bins in the warehouse are pretty bare right now and those are the toys we need."
They are trying to collect toys for nearly 90,000 kids.
