Chicago Woman Charged In Oak Park Shooting
OAK PARK, Ill. (STMW) -- A Chicago woman has been charged with attempted murder and three other felonies related to the shooting of a man last month in west suburban Oak Park
Erica J. Anderson, 21, of the 3100 block of West Flournoy Avenue, was charged Tuesday with attempted first-degree murder, home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated battery, Pioneer Press is reporting.
Anderson is accused of shooting a 50-year-old man May 30 in the 900 block of North Taylor Avenue in Oak Park.
An Oak Park spokesman said two additional suspects were in custody pending further review of the evidence by the Cook County State's Attorney's office.
Wilson was rushed to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in critical condition last Thursday evening with wounds to his shoulder and jaw. He remains in stable condition.
Anderson was ordered held on $750,000 bond. A preliminary court date has been set for Fri., June 7. If convicted she could face up to 30 years in prison.
