Chicago Woman Campaigning To Stop Sexual Harassment On CTA
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Chicago woman says there's a real difference between unsolicited compliments and sexual harassment in public places, reports WBBM's John Cody.
24-year-old Kara Crutcher says she's promoting a CTA ad campaign just to stop out of bounds sexually oriented remarks that target all too many on city streets and transit cars.

"That's not to say can't tell someone that you think they're attractive," Crutcher said. "That is how people meet their husbands and their wives. People are by nature attracted to each other and that is not something I am trying to fight at all/" say something nice."
Crutcher says she's working with the CTA's ad agency on a Courage Campaign she hopes will encourage transit riders to stand up with victims and let them know they're not alone in the face of sexual harassment: physical or verbal.
