Chicago Weather: Snow Bursts Ahead Friday
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Snow is in the forecast today.
Friday's temperatures will be in the low 40s.
The best chance for snow and rain showers will be from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a quick dusting in spots is possible. The last snow in Chicago was back in April, nearly seven months ago.
According to CBS 2 meteorologist Laura Bannon, there could be brief bursts of snow which reduce visibility for travelers. Most of the snow is expected to melt upon impact but some areas could pick up a quick dusting to an inch.
Any snow showers wrap up after sunset although a leftover flurry or two is possible after dark.
There's another potential for wintry weather on Sunday.
