Chicago Weather: Brisk and clear Wednesday night

The temperature drops to 45 on Wednesday night.

As the end of May marks the start of the Great Lakes boating season, beach hazard statements remain in place through Thursday afternoon as we have strong northeasterly breezy kicking up 4- to 6-foot wave heights.

Rip currents and dangerous waves remain in the forecast across Lake Michigan waters through Thursday so stay off and out of the water. 

High temperatures will start to make a climb back into the 60s Thursday and Friday.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High: 83, Low: 62

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High: 82, Low: 63
