Chicago Weather: Flooding Concerns Continue, Sunny Day Ahead
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Flooding from the Des Plaines and Fox rivers continues to be a concern for neighboring areas, but there is a sunny day ahead.
Morning storms led to a Flash Flood Watch Sunday morning as the Des Plaines and Fox rivers rise. According to CBS 2 meteorologist Ed Curran, areas near Russell Road will get to the major flood stage in Gurnee and Lincolnshire by Monday.
Sunday morning storms will clear, bringing sunny skies with temperatures in the 80s through Monday as well.
