Chicago Weather: Mid-20s As We Ring In 2020
CHICAGO (CBS) -- We're on track to have a chilly, but slightly warmer-than-average New Year's Eve.
CBS 2 Meteorologist Robb Ellis reported the Chicago area was on track to ring in 2020 with temperatures in the mid-20s, and wind chills that are in the mid- to upper teens.
New Year's Day will be sunny with highs 10 degrees above the average. Expect a high of 42.
Clouds return Thursday with rain expected on Friday. Highs will move into the mid-40s.
Colder temperatures return for the weekend with a little light snow Saturday morning.
