An assembly line of people of all ages and all walks of life moved cases of vegetables, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sacks of potatoes and of course turkeys to go into Thanksgiving baskets
Jason Erkes was coordinating the process.
"There are a lot of people going through really hard times right now and we rely on different organizations to give us names and it is a hard thing to ask for help, but people are very appreciative when they get it," said Erkes.
Valerie Black got a basket delivered to her.
"I really, literally felt very, very blessed," said Black.
The Chicago Thanksgiving Basket Brigade delivered over 750 holiday meals this weekend.
