2 People Rescued From The Chicago River
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Two people were rescued from the Chicago River Monday night.
Police said a woman lost her balance and fell into the water in the 400 block of North McClurg Court just after 11p.m. Her boyfriend immediately jumped into the water to rescue her.
An officer stationed nearby threw them a life ring and a witness said they were rescued from the water in about 15 minutes.
The woman and man were taken to the hospital with minor cuts and will be treated for hypothermia.
