Chicago Ranks High On Zillow's 'Best Cities To Trick-or-Treat In'
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Running out of reasons to love Chicago? Here's one more, but it's only valid during the Halloween season.
Zillow, a professional real estate website, has named the '20 Best Cities to Trick-or-Treat in' for the third year in a row. How'd Chicago do? Out of the twenty top cities, Chicago was ranked number five (take that, Cleveland!), beaten by Seattle, Honolulu, Boston and San Francisco, which took the number one spot.
Zillow judged cities through four variables: median home value, how walkable a city is, a city's population density, and the rate of both violent and non-violent crime.
Chicago's shining qualities were its walkability and population density, scoring high enough to be third in both categories. Unfortunately, Chicago didn't rank as well with crime or home value.
