Chicago Police Shoot Two Dogs, One Fatally, In Englewood
(CBS) -- Chicago Police say officers shot two dogs, one fatally, Sunday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood.
The officers were responding to a report of vicious animals in the 7000 block of S. Aberdeen around 2:30 p.m. and found two dogs were attacking people, according to Police News Affairs. The officers fired, hitting and injuring one of the dogs while the other fled. Officers pursued the second dog and after locating it in the 7000 block of South Carpenter, shot and killed the dog.
Police News Affairs says Animal Control took custody of the injured dog. No people were reported injured.
