Chicago Man Shot And Killed In Calumet City
CALUMET CITY, Ill. (STMW) -- A 35-year-old South Side man was shot to death in south suburban Calumet City early Thursday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Charles Keller died after he was shot in the chest multiple times near 152nd Place and Freeland Avenue about 1 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
Keller, of the 5800 block of South Michigan Avenue, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 2:23 a.m., the medical examiner's office said.
Calumet City police said they could not immediately comment on the shooting when reached by phone early Thursday morning.
