Chicago man charged with shooting another man during argument on Southwest Side
CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was charged with shooting another man during an argument earlier this month on the city's Southwest Side.
James Harris, 44, was arrested on Tuesday in the 3100 block of West Mann Drive by members of the Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Task Force. He was charged with aggravated battery with discharge of a firearm and armed habitual criminal.
Police said Harris was identified as the suspect who was in an argument with the victim, a 45-year-old man, around 1 a.m. on Nov. 3 in the 6600 block of South Kedzie Avenue. He left and came back with a handgun and shot the victim multiple times about the body.
The victim was treated by fire crews at the scene and then taken to Christ Hospital in good condition.
Harris is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing on Thursday.

Police, in an earlier report, said the incident happened in the 5600 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
