Chicago Cops Arrest New York Fugitive With Help From Google
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fugitive who was featured on "America's Most Wanted" for a double murder in Yonkers, N.Y., has been found in Chicago, thanks to the intuition of two cops, and a little help from Google.
Chicago Police Cmdr. Kevin Ryan said Ronnell Jones, 23, was arrested last month after police pulled over a car on Western Avenue, and police found Jones in the back seat with an open container of alcohol and a gun.
Ryan said Jones had an attitude when police pulled over the car, so the two officers who pulled over the car suspected something more.
"The male subject refused to answer any questions, refused to identify himself, was almost flippant about the fact he said 'Print me and find out who I am,'" Ryan said.

Officers took Jones into custody and checked his fingerprints, but it was a Google search that tipped them off Jones had been featured on "America's Most Wanted."
"Google's out there, and it's a tool to be used," Ryan said.
Police said the man evaded authorities by disguising himself as a woman, but was not dressed in drag when he was located in Chicago.
Jones and two others had been charged with forcing their way into the home of his sister's best friend in Yonkers in July 2010, demanding money, then shooting everyone present, including a 5-year-old boy.
Kasheem Little, 21, and Carlton McLeod, 23, were killed in the shooting, according to news reports. Four others were wounded, including a 5-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl, and two men.
According to news reports, two other suspects -- Brian Roach, 22, of Yonkers and Daniel Sanchez, 25, of Brooklyn -- have already pleaded guilty in the murders. Roach was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison. Sanchez was sentenced to life.
