Chicago Churches Comforting Mourners After Newtown Tragedy
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Churches in Chicago have been a gathering place today for people looking for comfort, and answers.
Well before the 8:15 a.m. service began, Lisa Vaske of St. Charles walked into Holy Name Cathedral with her 8-year-old son.

Even though she hadn't discussed the shootings with her son, it was, she said, important to her to take him with her to mass.
She says she prayed for safety for her family and peace for the families in Connecticut.
"I don't know the answers,said Vaske. "I hope some day we figure that out."
Calum MacLeod is executive associate pastor at Fourth Presbyterian Church.
"We don't try and have easy answers and quick fixes or seek to find easy blame, said Macleod."I think we recognize that gun violence does not only affect places like Newtown where there are great massacres as we witnessed, but our community, our city, has a great problem with gun violence as well."
