Chicago Bears raising season ticket prices by an average of 10% for 2025
Saying "the future is bright" after hiring new head coach Ben Johnson, the Chicago Bears are increasing season ticket prices by an average of 10% for the 2025 season.
Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren revealed the price increase in a letter to season ticket holders on Wednesday.
"I am confident we are on target to build the Chicago Bears into a championship-caliber franchise celebrating sustained success our fans have earned and deserve," Warren wrote.
Warren specifically pointed to the hiring of former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as head coach as reason to believe "the future is bright" for the Bears.
"We are confident this decision will positively impact this franchise for many years. Coach Johnson has assembled a first-class staff and together, they are determined to teach, coach, and empower our football team. General Manager Ryan Poles and Coach Johnson are building a strong and positive working relationship, setting the foundation for future success," Warren wrote.
The Bears have missed the playoffs for the past four seasons, and haven't won the NFC North division since 2018, but with Johnson considered one of the most highly coveted coaches in the NFL, and quarterback Caleb Williams' impressive production despite problems on the offensive line, there is growing optimism for the Bears headed into the 2025 season.
Warren said the team also plans to be aggressive in free agency and the NFL Draft, where they hold three of the top 41 picks.
