Chicago Area Women Are Weight Loss Champs
MATTESON, Ill. (WBBM/CBS) -- Chicago may be the city of big shoulders, but it also appears to be center of shrinking waistlines.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Nancy Harty explains, both women on the cover of the People Magazine weight loss issue are from the Chicago suburbs.

Josephine Reed, 34, of Matteson and Christina Cores, 22 of unincorporated Medinah, have lost a combined 278 pounds.
Both are roughly half the size they used to be.
Cores credits support through a weight loss website.
Reed, a nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital, was scared straight, so to speak, when her doctor told the nurse that she needed to go on high blood pressure medication.
But now she has appeared on "The Today Show," "Entertainment Tonight," "Inside Edition" and "Extra" as well as the magazine cover.
She tells the Daily Southtown she has always loved to eat, and still does. But the change is that she eats right.
