CHICAGO (CBS) -- A top Chicago business leader says now is the time for approval of casino gambling for the City of Chicago.

Opponents say the money would be less -- and the social problems more -- than backers suggest.
But Roper does not expect to see legislative approval anytime soon. He says political considerations and the race for mayor will likely be factors.
Mayoral hopeful Gery Chico hopes approval for a casino comes sooner rather than later. He says it could bring in hundreds of millions in revenue for education.
