Castro Named Co-NL Player Of The Week
The Chicago Cubs' Starlin Castro has been named co-National League Player of the week, along with St. Louis' Jaime Garcia, for the week ending on April 3.
Castro had eight hits in 13 plate appearances, including a double, two triples, a walk and a RBI.
Garcia pitched a complete-game shut out of the San Diego Padres, he allowed four hits and two walks while striking out nine.
