Carlos Silva Out of Hospital
After checking in yesterday with an abnormally high heart rate, Carlos Silva was released today from a hospital in Denver and will be evaluated by a cardiologist when he returns to Chicago.
Fifteen pitches and only four batters into his start Sunday against the Rockies, Silva walked off the mound and into a vehicle which took him to the hospital.
This is one of a couple anticipated stories going into tonight's game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field. Newly acquired Cub Blake DeWitt will be in the building and new Dodger teammates Ted Lilly and Ryan Theriot are not at Wrigley for the first time in a while.
