Car Reported Carjacked In Chicago Crashes On Bishop Ford Freeway In South Suburbs After Pursuit
CALUMET CITY, Ill. (CBS) -- A car that was reported carjacked in Chicago ended up crashing after being pursued by Illinois State Police on the Bishop Ford Freeway in the southern suburbs Saturday evening.
At 8:08 p.m., an Illinois State Police trooper spotted a car that was reported to have been carjacked in the city of Chicago and tried to pull over the driver.
The driver kept going south on the Bishop Ford and crashed onto the ramp to eastbound Dolton Road.
Two suspects were taken into custody.
