Carimi To Undergo Knee Surgery Again
(CBS) Bears offensive tackle Gabe Carimi will undergo another surgery on this right knee, this time to repair it completely, and he will need four months to rehab, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The rookie first round pick dislocated the knee in Week 2 in New Orleans and has not seen the field since. He underwent an arthroscopic procedure in November and was placed on injured reserve.
The latest surgery is "a more involved procedure that should strengthen and tighten his knee," according to the report.
Carimi is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp next summer.
