Car With Stolen Goods Crashes On NW Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A police chase on the city's Northwest Side ended when two suspects crashed a car full of stolen items overnight.
Grand Central District police officers saw the vehicle strike several parked cars about 2 a.m. in the 3300 block of West Diversey Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
Upon examining the car, police found items inside that had been stolen from another car some distance to the north, Greer said.
Two male occupants of the vehicle were injured when it crashed, and they were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Greer said. No charges had been filed as early Monday.
Police could not immediately say what the stolen items were.
