Man Dies After Being Crushed In Car Wash Machinery
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 45-year-old man died after he was crushed in machinery at a Jefferson Park car wash overnight.
Police said Adam Cerceo, an employee of the car wash at Lawrence and Cicero, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center around 10 p.m. Wednesday after suffering injuries caused by machinery.
He was later pronounced dead, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy determined Cerceo died of multiple injuries caused by becoming entangled in the automated car wash. The autopsy ruled his death an accident.
