Car Sought In West Side Hit-And-Run
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian seriously injured early Sunday in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle about 12:10 a.m. in the 600 block of North Homan Avenue, according to an alert from the police Major Accident Investigation Unit.
Officers are searching for a Dodge Magnum or Charger that sped off after striking and seriously injuring the pedestrian, police said.
The vehicle is believed to be grey in color with possible front-end damage to the driver-side headlight and windshield, according to the alert.
