Car Slams Into Wall On I-90
ROSEMONT, Ill. (CBS) -- A car hit a wall on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway early Monday, prompting an emergency response and leading to traffic troubles.
As CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reports, the car spun sideways and hit the wall on westbound I-90 just west of the Devon Avenue Toll Plaza, not far from where the ramps funnel traffic from the Tri-State Tollway (I-90).
As of around 6:45 a.m., a fire engine, a battalion chief and an ambulance were en route to the scene.
The extent of the accident victim or victims' injuries was not immediately learned.
