Car Crashes Onto Kennedy From Overpass
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A vehicle crashed down from an overpass onto the Kennedy Expressway early Monday, after an accident that left one person with minor injuries.
Illinois State Police responded to the crash near the expressway (I-90) at Cumberland Avenue just after 1 a.m., an Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper said.

A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred that caused one vehicle to crash onto the expressway, a Jefferson Park District police lieutenant said.
The vehicle traveling northbound on Cumberland Avenue drove through a metal barrier and fell onto the outbound lanes of the expressway, the trooper said. Officials could not immediately say how far the vehicle fell in the crash.
The two occupants of the vehicle that crashed onto the expressway were not injured, police said.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle that remained on the Cumberland Avenue overpass suffered minor injuries and was taken to Resurrection Medical Center. Genders and ages of the victims were not immediately known.
