Car Crash Causes Power Outage In Lemont
LEMONT, Ill. (STMW) -- Teams were working to restore power to a section of southwest suburban Lemont following a power outage caused by a car that crashed into a utility pole.
According to an alert from the village of Lemont, a power outage was caused about 11:30 a.m. in the area of Walker and McCarthy roads when a car crash there involved a utility pole.
No injuries were reported from the crash, the alert said.
The town estimated that it would take no more than one hour to get power back on and the road reopened.
