Calipari Receives Key To City; Plaque Riddled With Typos
(WSCR) Fresh off his first national championship, Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari is making his victory rounds.
One of his first stops was Pikeville, Ky., where he received a ceremonial key to the city.
The key came attached to an engraved plaque, describing Calipari and his accomplishments.
The plaque reads: "To Coach John Calipari In Recognition Of A Remarkable Season And Returning Th NCAA National Championship Trophy To The Commonwealth Of Kentucky. It's Rightful Home."
