Cab Driver Ticketed For Hitting 2 Little Girls On Mag Mile
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A cab driver from Richton Park has been ticketed for hitting two little girls on the Magnificent Mile over the weekend.
Cab driver Friday Ekon, 65, of the 20000 block of Butterfield Road in Richton Park, was issued two tickets for striking a pedestrian in the roadway.

As WBBM Newsradio's Mary Frances Bragiel reports, police say Ekon was driving his cab south on Michigan Avenue when he hit two children as they were trying to cross the street after exiting a vehicle just after 5 p.m. Sunday.
The girls, ages 6 and 8, were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. One suffered a broken femur, while the other, according to investigators, has a bruised abdomen.
The cab driver was also taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to be checked out, police said.
