Butler Knows Defense Is Key To Playing Time
Over his career, Rasual Butler has built up the reputation of being a defensive and three-point specialist. After coming to the Chicago Bulls, Butler knows he'll contribute in both, but one will get him on the floor first.
"A little bit of both," Butler said on the Mully and Hanley Show of whether his contribution will come defensively or from shooting threes.

"It's quite obvious that you have to play defense for Coach [Tom Thibodeau] to get on the floor, so that's going to be my mindset, playing defense first. Don't really have to worry about offense, these guys play together here and the ball moves and coach Thibodeau coaches the game to be played the right way."
Butler's first opportunity to play for Thibodeau and the Bulls will come tonight when the team travels to Orlando to take on the Magic.
