Bus Driver, Motorist Hurt In School Bus Crash In Big Rock
BIG ROCK, Ill. (CBS) -- Two people were injured when a bus carrying elementary school students was involved in a crash Tuesday morning in Kane County.
The school bus, which was carrying nine children, collided with a car on Route 30 near Davis Road in Big Rock about 8:10 a.m., according to a statement from the Kane County Sheriff's office.
The bus driver and the driver of the car were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. None of the children were injured.
Another bus picked up the students and took them to Big Rock Elementary School, and parents were notified, police said.
