Burglars Hit Alderman's Office, Steal Computers, TV, A/C Unit
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Chicago alderman's office on the Southwest Side has been burglarized, and thieves made off with an air conditioner, three computers, and a TV.
Ald. Ricardo Munoz (22nd) said he feels "violated" after someone broke in through the front door of his ward office at 2500 S. St. Louis Av., sometime between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
He said the files on the stolen computers had been backed up, so he hasn't lost any data, and he's not worried about sensitive information getting into the wrong hands because it's on "the cloud."

He's not worried about replacing the TV either. He said his first priority is replacing the window-unit air conditioner.
Munoz said police told him they'd found some fingerprints in the office, and they're hoping security video from a grocery store across the street will lead somewhere.
Does he think he'll see any of his things again?
"Not likely," Munoz said.
