Bulls Will 'Stay Together' Heading Into Game 3
CHICAGO (CBS) Everything in Chicago was great after the Bulls 21-point win in Game 1, but after losing to the Miami Heat in Game 2, some doubt may have started to creep up among Bulls fans.
Chicago suffered its only loss to the Heat so far this season. And the things that helped the Bulls win the first four meetings, were things they struggled with on Wednesday night.
"Our defense and our rebounding are two things that we have to be able to count on," head coach Tom Thibodeau said after the game.
Miami shot 47.1 percent (32-of-68) from the floor and out rebounded the Bulls 45-41.
Chicago never expected to sweep the Miami out of the Eastern Conference finals, so while they would have liked to not have lost home-court advantage, they can still achieve their goal.
"We're definitely confident," Derrick Rose said. "I know we just can't wait to go out there and play again. We're the type of team where, things get tough, we stay together."
